Hey lads just lookin at these on carzone going to buy one in the next week or two for the road/track
the thing is i dont know much about either of them, does anybody know anythin about them? pros/cons ect
thanks

very good cars, ideal track car for power and bit of rwd fun....black top engine is best to go for as if you blow a engine the red top is harder to find...lots of good deals to be got out there now too

Drove one for three years, lovely car, starter motor was the only thing that went on it.

(well till the compression went on her, Oooops! :wall:) There great rear wheel drive,

try and get one thats minded, and you should get many happy hours of motoring.

Had 2 silvia s14. there a great car, try to make sure your buyn a jap and not a uk 200sx. Engines are real reliable unless your very unlucky. gear boxs are very reliable, apart from the 6spd on s15 can be a bit soft, usually i find if you buy a just in jap, usually you end up putting in a clutch fairly soon, the gasket between turbo and manifold has a habbit of disintegrating and turbo could even become loose and it will sound like a tractor, can be a bit tricky to do, allow 250 if its gone. very easy get power out off, turbo elbow down pipe, decat, adj pressure reg and an s15 turbo and you shud be not too far off 280 to 300bhp. Fuel pumps tend to give up, but good idea to get walbro pump in before it goes, if you buy i have a decat there for 80 quid if you want it.

myself and a mate burnt the clutch in his auld fellas 200 when we were about 15 at a teenage disco. towed it back at left it in the drive like nothin happened but of course got caught in the end. great yoke as i remember

Some good advice there lads thanks

was lookin at this on positinheads i know its not a jap and its a 200

but it seems to be good value for money and it will my first track car just start off in...

She looks very clean and has some spec for the money.

Shitty Mobile phone pics don't help at all but sure you'd have to see her before you buy her either way.
