Is there anyone out there that can help me???
Got all the bodywork and stuff done on the car after I hit a tree, there is no acceleration what so ever?
Have checked plug leads and air mass meter and all breather pipes to the manifold.
Have checked all boost sensors and map sensors!!!!!!
What else can it possibley be causing the problem,,,, any ideas lads?

how did you check all the sensors mate!!!!
boost solenoid???
i'd say something to do with maf sensor!!!!

If your boost solenoid had failed it would stay closed and leave you with base boost level, ie. pressure required to open the wastegate, usually around 0.5bar.

As for the MAF that would cause a chugging and it would turn on the CEL.

Without driving the car its hard to diagnose:
Does the engine sound normal? Are you sure its firing on all 4? Is there any spluttering or chugging?

Don't know what it'd be, any guess would be a shot in the dark

A discription of how she drives and ticks over and that would be very helpful

Im almost sure I had this in mine, its a fuel sensor in the exhaust...dont ask me where, thats just what the lads in C&R told me, when you put the foot down the car just will not go, not cheap to replace either.

Lambda sensor would normally give the same kind of symptoms as a faulty MAF, usually chugging and such. But cant rule anything out without more info or driving it

Bare in mind it's only since he hit a tree!
So would a sensor be affected by this??
Dan

A lot of things can be affected by that, most cars aren't too fond of trees

Its wrecking my head trying to work it out, wouldn't mind taking it for a test drive to see for myself

no point trying to test drvie it there is nothing happening when the foot is put down but I have checked plug leads on it and I spoke to a guy from C&R and he reckons its the coil pack???????????

The maf is very delicate its like a strip of wire a good smack into a tree could damage it

if definitely could alright but the symptoms don't sound like a MAF. Coil packs would cause that problem, but you'd here it at idle too, very lumpy sounding and maybe a few pops or back fires from excess fuel being pumped into the exhaust.

Best bet is to get someone with a similar car and swap bits over to trouble shoot it. Coil Packs would only take 10mins or so to swap over
