Alright lads new to the site. Not a Subaru owner, but hoping to be in the very near future. Had my eye on getting a B4 Legacy for a while now and have a couple to look at this week. Any advice on what to look for with those or any common problems I should be aware of? I have no experience with Subarus in the past any help appreciated :thumbsup:
 
Welcome along man don't be afraid to ask we're a helpful bunch and good luck with your search any cars you fancy throw up a link to them and some of the lads might be able to steer you in the right direction about them
 
Welcome along, make sure there's no gearbox noise and jdm cars need to have the engine ecu mapped for irish fuel

heard that about the jdm cars. whats the price for getting a decent map if it hasnt been done? will an octane booster make much of a difference without it?

the 2 I'll be looking at this week are REV C B4s a 2000 & a 2001MY. I'd probably prefer a REV D for the nicer front end but no nice ones out there at the moment for sale

would you say I'd be better off holding out for a Rev D? Im browsing through Imprezas on done deal now aswell. Dunno would I choose the legacy for more comfort
 
Welcome Noob. Leggy more comfy alright. But comfy=slower. Get yourself a nice bug or blob Impreza. Perfomance bargain of the century especially if already remapped. :welcome:
