Decided to hold on to it now lads sorry if i wasted anyones time.
Iv put to much money time and effort into it and it would kill me to see it go

all work has been carried out over the last 7 months and have receipts for most of it.
will get pics up soon just have to take some

My cousin carried out all the work on it everythings 100% and mapped by JGM
Can be viewed in the dublin area

Are you ready to move on a type r? Is there no decent ones on donedeal? Thought i saw a few that looked decent recently..

I am ready to rock and roll alright deco, sold my car so I've nothing stopping me, just a matter of waiting for the right one :thumbsup: .. Couple of things online that look decent but aren't. Then there's the ones with rebuild specified but no record of the rebuild, who did it or what was put into it :doh: .. I seem to be able to pick faults with nearly everything i see online unfortunately.. There are a couple up and down the country that I would like to go and see but won't have a chance to travel to view them for a while yet as I seem to be flat out nearly every weekend at the minute. I know they are at least 11 years old now so I don't expect showroom condition but well maintained and looked after would be nice. I can put money into todying it up myself.

I'm thinking of abandoning the search for a running used one in favour of just waiting until one comes up with a blown engine and a few mods.

Yeah in fairness i was a while looking for mine..looked at a good few bangers..Its funny how many people out there describe the car as mint and running 100% and then you go look at it and the things in bits..Very frustrating..But as you said buying one that needs an engine is a very good idea..At least you can build to the spec you want and you know what bits are going into it and by who..

I seen that before u edited it. Get a grip pal u need to grow up!! You all now that hes a good mechanic and had no problem gettin him to do work on your cars and do u all favours befor yous banned him!! Your grown men lads start acting like one!!

It was up for a few mins before I edited it to try and keep the peace alright :thumbsup: .. I can be a bit too blunt and to the point at times :wall: ... And BTW, he never touched my car, I prefer to get my work done in a reputable garage. None of this really matters now anyway as you're keeping the car so good luck with it :thumbsup:
