How's it going lads, I've been on here a while but never posted to much, I've owned a bugeye wrx and b4 wagon in the past and joined to learn more about them

I bought another b4 today from dave b which seems to be a good car, low mileage and very clean! Just needs some servicing because it's been parked up for 18 months or so, which brings me onto my next question, what do you guys recommend I do?

It has 140k on the clock, I'll definitely be doing oil/filter, plugs and air filter anyway. Should I be changing gear/diff oil too? Also the timing belt?

Cheers

Hi there,

I'd get as much fluids changed as possible. If you are planning to do the belt, do the idler pulleys, tensioner and water pump while your at it for peace of mind. Welcome to the club!

Welcome along. I recognise the username from backroads I think.

Personally i would do all you have mentioned just for piece of mind

Welcome to the club man, do anything that the paperwork doesnt cover. A bit of preventative maintenance is a lot cheaper than a engine rebuild.

Very clean B4 you got there
Was gonna buy it myself there when I seen the price drop but too slow to move
had a good look around it few weeks back
very very clean car
All the best with it
