wouldnt cost a lot to go as a passenger mark still a brilliant trip or as a mate of mine does when we go 58 euro ryanair flight into frankfurt hahn and a rental car to get to the ring to meet us makes for a very cheap weekend rental car only bout 100 euro for the three days and the 2 nights b&b at 90 euro usually bit of spends and away ya go

I would recommend it, can be done in day from dublin (long one ) I left it at 10 am and was back in bublin at 6am the following morning, And I would do it soon as all this healh and safety bullshit from Brussells will close it down eventually :icon_evil:
Cheers
John

agree with ya there john it will close to the public its gettin too busy ,what way did you go

have been a few times, will defo go again next year. think i would go for another rent a ring car rather than use my own, bit more peace of mind. i had more fun, and faster laps in the clio rental than i had in the subaru last time.

I was at the 24hr in Le Mans and headed from there via Luxembourg. Got to Hotel An Der Nordschleife on the monday had all day there Tuesady and left wednesday morning. Got the Train to Felixsowe and Holyhead-Dublin. Was a super road trip
Worked out at €950 per car with 2 people, Ferries, Le Man tickets and camping, hotels etc.
Great trip.
Cheers
John

how much would you roughly spent on petrol for the trip?

Been before and it is definitely a must for all car enthusiasts. Nowhere like it. Especially if you get to breathe in the fumes of a race day aswell. We camped next door to the track and it's cheap as chips and you awake to the sound of punished tyres and glorious engine notes.

Couldnt recommend it highly enough
