Hi Folks funds are low as is the case with most people so the car is due an oil change so I said to myself I will diy the job well I couldnt even get the plastic engine protection off, so is there a diagram of said protector to show me where all clips and screws are I have done an oil change before but not on a Legacy and I would not be the most calm person when things go wrong so any help would be great cheers. PS No smart remarks LOL

there should be to 2 small access covers that fold down the front one is for the oil filter the back one is for the sump nut it will save you taking off the whole cover .careful not to burn your hand screwing off the oil filter after its warmed up

i have never been able to access anything through those small 2 flaps, made for small Japanese hands!

There is 2 bolts at the front of the under tray and one near the back in the center. there is also 2 plastic clips at the back that you need to pop off, one on the left and one on the right, kind of like U shape clips. Thats all the bolts and clips underneath, there is also a plastic pop it on each side of the cover that you access from behind the front wheels. If you look at the wheel, to the top right of it you will see the plastic pop it.

Drive up to me if you want a hand doing it.
