Just wondering if a reading of 12psi on warm idle is alright in a legacy. Seems a bit low but not sure.
 
ok you got me convinced, what is Aonghus number?
I will ring him Monday and if there is place available before rolling road day Im booking it :p

The gauge should be pretty accurate but they are made by pro sport which isn't the greatest make. What preasure does oil have to drop to for the oil light on dash to come on...and if the oil preasure is low what could be the cause
 
I've prosport gauges in my impreza and don't find them accurate at all tbh.

Had the oil pressure drop to 0 at idle. Was afraid it was going to sh*t itself. Checked it with a tester and gave a steady 3 bar at hot idle. Must getting a set of defis when funds allow.

Defo get it checked all the same!!
