oil pressure

well lads, fitted an oil pressure guage in ash's 03 sti type uk. My question is, what oil pressure should it be reading at idle and in normal driving conditions. Her guage reads in psi. Thanks lads

mine is about 8 ish when cold and it settles at about 2 when engine is up to temp

started from cold mine is bout 90 psi...
drops to bout 50/60 when warm!!!!
then flucuates from 60 to 100 upon spirited driving!!!!

hope thats a bar reading your givin isb4
even then it sounds a bit low!!!

where did you take the oil pressure reading from???

and taking reading from sensor attached to that.
was getting 40 psi earlier and 50 lastnight.

Mine sit at bout 2bar on idle and then at full throttle bout 8bar....roughly....if you can covert that to psi.....

its up near the 100 when driven!

Mine is...

30 PSI at WARM idle

90-100 PSI at COLD Idle

fluctuates between 30 and 100PSI when driven.
