the adjustable diff is only a gimmik.a mate has a seven and cant stand it.

Thats because some people think you can switch your car between front and rear wheel drive... Thats not what its for!! Its actually to give you more grip!!

Type R's have a different gear and LSD set up. When the front wheels start to lose grip the power goes to the back on launches.

the adjustable diff is only a gimmik
:ponder: :ponder:

The adjustable diff on Impreza's, is a basic mechanical diff and it
dose exactly what it says on the tin !!

It's function and design is simple well lets say compared to the acitive
YAW control on Evo's but it works perfect and dose what it is supposed to do.

Six Spoke Clive what faults dose your mate have with the DCCD ????

Niall.

im on about the diff in my mates evo7.sorry about the confusion.i love mysubaru and everything about it

feckin sure niall.the impreza diff certainly does work.my mate with the evo7 is pumping money into it.he even managed to break a strut supposedly goin over a pothole.

And would smash up anyones car..........

Sounds like your mate is butting as much money into his evo 7 as my brother is with his, only problem I've had with my STI is that the brother ran his Evo 7 into the back of it, All fixed now and as good as new though, Stay with the subaru. ( I do have a very small problem with the front left bearing I think, but I'll Post about that!) :subaru:

fairness is full of potholes.everyone should know that but in fairness they r not all huge.some r small n some r half way between huge n small!!!!!!!!!!!!!
