Finally got my insurance cheque through today had been looking at a few things over passed week but picked up a 02 toyota corolla t-sport 1.8 vvtli and am very happy with it
I thought toyota are known for reliability and it's a good compromise between something for the family and something to keep me happy it goes like a stabbed rat but looks very like normal corolla
Has some paintwork issues but that was reflected in the price ill have some pics of it tomorrow

They are a great car the dad has one from new since 2003 tires batteries is all its ever taken

Cheers lads the high lift is very surprising its had one owner since imported in 07 and loads of receipts for work done its red with a set of white alloys

good man paul.. cracker of an engine in them. I had a celica with one. Do the lift bolts need to be done. Mine had snapped when I bought but garage had to fix them. I think they changed the bolt design after that. Mine was a 1999 one
 
Nice cars , check over the brakes on it , mate of mine had one and had a mixture of seized Pistons and sliders .
 
The lift bolts are known to give problems but evidently it's not a big job to do it yourself its very torquey and the high lift gives a real kick so it all seems to be good
brakes are good as well and draws up very quickly front discs and pads were done about 3000 miles ago
