Hold that thought till the new focus rs and civic type r appear
 
New focus st is a face lift version of the current one so emissions is the same the new civic is estimated at 181 g/co2 so that puts it at 750 a year same as the astra, also the new civic is estimated to be 26,000 gbp which would be 30,000 odd euro and vrt at 30% based on co2 plus vat I'd say it will be in the 40,000 area so still expensive compared to the focus
 
Scratch that the focus st has had emissions improvements too so now it's 280 a year tax like the golf it just gets better

Maybe in the future if I sell the scoob or pass it over to the missus i might go down the new rs road.

The package is way to good not to if going for a new car IMO and four doors also is a plus for a family car.

Will the new rs hit any ford garages over here for viewing/test drives dec.
 
We usually get them, but never for demo unless the boss registered one for himself then it could be driven, the rs would usually be pre sold before it gets to the garage
