Opinions on this WRX please?

One of the lads in work is looking to get rid of his RX8 and is thinking of switching to a Subaru. He has a heap of history with BMW's, but by his own admission knows next to nothing about the Subaru.

So this particular one has caught his attention. I wouldn't have much notion about the newage stuff so wondering what peoples opinions are on it? Is it priced correctly or optimistically? Anyone actually know the car in particular?

Any opinions appreciated as I don't want to be giving him bad advice :thumbsup:
 
Seems bit pricey imo but could be wrong the HID's could be an issue when it comes to NCT some people on here with legacys saying theyve had probs with no headlight washer and have had to get a letter from subaru saying they have been factory fitted

I had a feeling that 5k for a '02 WRX was a little on the high side alright. What would you say would be a more realistic price?

Will mention it to him tomorrow about the HID's too.
 
Id say 3-3.5 depending on condition etc mileage is high enough for the type of car although average for year so would wanna make sure timing belt etc has been done. The HID thing is quite new from what I can gather ive a feeling a lot of people will be caught out by it this year
 
Cheers for the links Stel. Problems though - the red one is a non-turbo GX and there's barely a month's test on the blue one. Does prove that the one I linked to is overpriced though so still beneficial :thumbsup:
