Opinions on wheel sizes

When I bought the Wagon it came with a set of 18's on it....
Personally I love the look of them but I think they are too big...... whats everyone elses view? Are 18" wheels putting undue stress on gear box suspension etc........ Was Going to swap wheels with Aidan cause i thought I didnt like my wheels but his Prodrive rims had bigger tyres that would have rubbed badly.......

In short.... Would the wagon look better.... be more comfortable to drive on a set of 16" / 17" wheels?

I had 18's on my impreza before and put 17's on it ,i wouldnt put 18's on an impreza

I have 18"s on mine and the handling is fine just a bit more firm, since the 18 inch wheels went on

think thats the problem.... the pregnant wife finds it too firm

Your wheels will fit all other scoobies up to late 05 sti's
You should be able to swap with someone easy enough!
If it were me,
I would put 225/45/18" on and do whatever needed to be done to the arches to fit then!!!

I wouldn't bother on a road car to roll arches for .. Absolute overkill. Handling wise 17's and whiteline bitsbe a fine job and no risk to paintwork.

17's and go for a 45 profile
i find its not too firm and the 45 profile helps fill the arches a little bit
