opinions please

they are lovely cars and greatly underestimated imo. the bf has a b4 gtb as daily and its very very comfy, not bad on juice, very fast (ok, its modified) and practical. handle very very well as they have a long wheel base and are well balanced. i would recommend 4pot brakes (they bolt right on and those wheels will clear them too) because the stock 2pot brakes are simply lethal!

as far as economy goes, the bf's has an a/m ecu and i managed to get 38mpg out of it one day.
they are not bad on fuel imo depending on your driving. but hey, if its crazy economy our after, get a tdi lol

MPG is worse than an impreza, I'm getting more mpg out of the Spec C than I did out of the B4. They are a great car and very comfy for everyday driving but I wouldn't have an auto.

yea they are 260 :wall:

mine gets 25mpg on a mixed commute, had 28 before on a long motorway cruise from Edinburgh to Wales

FANTASTICLY comfy cars and real mile munchers/tourers

but dont expect and auto to be too quick, 260 when fresh out of the box and on Jap petrol.... 13 years on, on Irish E5, your prob looking at 230-240 + the loss from the 4WD system and the kurb weight of 1460KG, a Glanza will give you a head ache in a traffic light drag,

i would only recommend a auto to a person doing lots of city/town mileage with the potential of stop start traffic but wants a bit of poke

and only recomend a Leggy in general for someone who wants to have a not so brash Subaru, has family and a dog etc etc

if you want something to DRIVE

buy an Impreza (and im not saying that because im a fan boy because im not, i drive an auto Leggy :hammerhead: )

im going to go by your user and say your the same age as me....

i IDEALISED the Legacy B4 as a kid in secondary school, and swore i would own one one day...

but for me its a case of never meet your childhood hero, i invested WAY to much WAY to fast and now im stuck with a car i sort of resent and despise and that owes me €10k+

think very seriously about what you want from the car, chances are its what i wanted...... and never got

Chump change compared to what I put into mine.. There comes a time when you just bite the bullet and sell her on at a massive loss :icon_cry:

Substantially more tbh, I get more km's per tank even with the smaller tank in the Spec C than I got with the 60L tank in the B4.

Bit off topic still but what are you getting out of the spec C if you fill it Robbie? Average?
