P1 for Sale - SOLD

Re: P1 for Sale

Hi Frawls,

Yes it has a sunroof (supposed to be factory fitted - I think only a couple got it done) and Air Con
The P1 is my second car so not sure if I will be buying anything else in the near future.
TBH if I had a garage I would keep it :icon_cry:

Cheers

Re: P1 for Sale

She's a real beaut. I'll never forget my first passenger laps in Mondello in a brand new P1 back in 2001. I couldnt believe how much more powerful and better handling it was than my unmodified MY 00 Turbo. It gripped so hard it had fuel surge on a few of the bends each lap. Since then I promised myself I have would have a P1 some day. Maybe I've left it too late though as I've spoiled myself with a top spec TT for the last 4 years and its plenty fast and fun to drive although the refinement clouds the sense of speed. I really miss that actually, that rawness accompanied by the rasp off the exhaust. I think I'm having my mid life crisis, well I will be 40 on the 28th of this month :shhh:

Re: P1 for Sale

Lovely car Alan and at a great price.. sorry to crash thread but did the air con come as standard on the P1, was there no DCCD cause of it

Re: P1 for Sale

I remember following Ken Borland years ago on one of the charity drives in his P1 and being impressed at the handling and performance of it compared to Fergals Turbo. Frawls you know it makes sence and this is agood one at a keen price, and a good history with it. Sell the Hairdressers car and come back to the fold :multijump:
Cheers

[/quote]If I wasnt married, nearly 40 with a 1 year old baby girl I would have bought the P1 by now but alas like all married me there is a merry dance to be done before indulging ones passions especially one costing 81/2k. The real problem is I still love my TT and you can ask Scruff how it faired out against his 300 bhp sti impreza on a run down to Mondello (I think he is still shocked by the result!). I know its a gorgeous car but 81/2k for an 11 year old 100k miler is probably going to be an impossible sell to my wife. I need to be realistic and see what is going to happen with our broken economy over the next few months. If they bring in property tax I'd be lucky to be driving a Justy never mind a P1!

Thank you to all who have made my approach to middle age less painful with your well wishes. I am glad to report everything is still working fine, hasn't fallen off or faded and that's just my TT!

Re: P1 for Sale

Cheers Prinz! You're only as old as the woman you feel so I am am a good bit form 40 still on that measure of age!

Alan, Sorry for the thread getting side tracked by my olde age. If it wasn't for all the uncertainty surrounding our economy at the moment I'm sure your P1 one would have been snapped up instantly. I just cant consider buying it at the moment so don't want to give you false hope. If you can afford to garage it you should as future prices of P1's will get stronger when the UK's economy recovers. In the meantime you might as well enjoy it as we will never the likes of these fantastic cars again.

Re: P1 for Sale

Hi All,

I'd be willing to drop the price a little if anyone is genuinely interested?

Thanks

Alan
