P1- Looking for a new motor

Welcome Garry. Very nice P1 and a great start to Subaru ownership if you buy it. Looks a clean example just looking at the pictures. The P1 is a UK car so not a Japanese Import. Which also means you dont have to worry about mapping.

they are recommended to run on 98 octane but

Splash of E5 (and booster if your of a nervous disposition), sorted

€7-9,000 seems pretty reasonable, if that's what they are going for,
The Jap impreza Type R would be my preferance, just from a value for money point of view, basic differences are P1 has ABS, but no Controllable diff
Welcome along either way!

Thansk for all the feed back. Done a good bit of research about these before but just wondering will i actually do anything about it now that i have space in the garage. I reckon the P1 is a good investment. I know its not a 22B but it is rare and you would hope it would appreciate in value when the rec*****n is all done. I think 10k is the buying of the car.

sorry to spam, but does anyone know the history of that p1?its been on done deal ages.10k is good for a p1,they are making anything between 11 and 15k sterling in the uk and around 6k euro to clear over here.

Its been on a while but at higher prices he said. The guy seems A1 and is int too pushed to sell it by the way he is talking. He doesn't appear to be stuck for cash but has a few other interesting cars by the sounds of things and is just looking to make some space. Gonna try and look at it over the weekend.

checked the build no,theres no record on the P1owners club.
as for the brakes their not the prodrive, maybe ap racing :dontknow:

Did they not have sti red 4 pots as standard! and Option of Alcons as an upgrade?
