Anyone know of a trader or place that does a professional paint job on a set of Brembos? Preferably somewhere that guarantees their work or somewhere that comes recommended from customers

Mine are in fairly good nick but I'd like them to be like new.

Cheers lads

Bump :new_puppy_dog_eyes:

Has anyone tried to get a VHT gold paint that matches the brembos, even as a touch up kit?

Does anywhere mix custom colours in VHT paint?

Cheers Mark, But i tried that alright, VHT paints are silicone based or something and they don't mix them in halfords.

Anyone else know somewhere that mixes VHT paint or can repaint Gold Brembos?

I got paint made up yesterday by a guy in JFK Industrial estate, called LakkerMan. All you need to give him is the paintcode, sound lad, only took 2 mins.

Where abouts is JFK ind est? i know i've been there but i dont remember where it is, i could do with some touch up paint for the brembos.

Here's a code that i got from :ponder2: i think Keith Dublin if it wasn't i appologise to whoever it was,
its for the gold brembos: Honda Inca Pearl y-61p 08703-y61ppah

Cheers again Mark

The first link is no where near brembo gold

The second link says that his subaru dealer has a body shop and made him up a paint that matched, but C+R don't have that capability so I dunno what to do :dontknow:

I heard of this before but don't know how close of a match it is, also don't know if you can get it in High temp paint :ponder2:

The closest thing I can find in a ready made kit is this 2 part (epoxy style) caliper paint:

Its called G2 Gold Caliper Paint:

Cheers for the links Mark
the G2 paint looks closer alright brembos might be a little deeper in colour but its hard to tell from a picture :ponder:

Looks decent enough doe. :dontknow:

Try PR Rileys in Kilbarrack industrial estate. They have a huge paint department and pretty sure they do high temp also.

Yeah its hard to tell alright :ponder: But its defo closer than the gold on that evo plus its VHT paint and in a 2 part paint with hardener it'd be like powder coated hard. I reckon it'd be fairly tough stuff :icon_blahblah:

I was driving but not minding where i was going so couldnt direct you accurately, it was past Cloverhill prison and close enough to where that "suped" shop was in the Industrial Estate..

"Do they do High temp paint though?"

He seemed to have everything there so i would imagine he does, its a dedicated paint store. Not a shop that you can walk around - just a counter and all the gear behind it.
Mixes the paint on the spot for you and puts it in an aerosol can..
