PASSED NCT BUT WASNT WORTH DOING

Well lads i passed this morning and was happy with that,
untill he said i have to do it again in november, i said ye
must be joking, he said it goes on when the car was first
regestered, he said it was due a test in 07, but the car didnt
arrive here untill the middle of 08, so after changing exhaust
and paying for a test + retest €78, ive to do it again, so another €50
now im glad its now passed as roadworthy but didnt need to have it
all to do again so soon, rip off scam.

You left out the best bit, They said you can sit your NCT 3 months before its due, and if he had of sat it in 2 months time then they could've given him the cert for 2 years Nice the way they let you know this beforehand.

Pure Scam

If the car is road worthy now then you should get a cert for 2 years, regardless of date of registration. This country is such a rip off.

Done my nct again yesterday and passed with flying colours, new cert untill the 30-11-2011

the same thing happened me years ago when I bought a celica.. I kicked up a big fuss and rang the NCT head office and gave out hell to some fella and i got a new cert for the 2 years in the post..lol
