PASSED NCT BUT WASNT WORTH DOING

Mothers mini cooper passed just last week.

Yesterday the brake pad warning light came on the dash. Pads worn down to about an millimeter of their lives. Yet it still passed an NCT a week earlier???

I dont know but dont they visually inspect everything when its up on the ramp? Also, how could it have passed the brake tests with dead pads?

IMO its just a money making scam.

its been a scam since day 1 lad

Heard of lads that could supply a disk without the car been taken to the test centre

You would be supprised what you can get away with,
my old civic snapped wheel stud with nut on it, then just out side nct got out the super glue stuck it on and passed
her fiesta surface rust on brake lines rubbed down bit of black spray, paint was actualy still wet going in to nct, and passed
yesterday my scooby my reverse lights are not working but il be sorting it, some switch on gearbox, and passed :cuckoo:
but i knew myself they might not notice it and was happy they did'nt even doe its only a visual
have also heard of the back handers myself.

i was failed on a plastic cover missing off my rear number plate light on a 206 i had years ago , i dont think thats as bad as rusty brake lines,

Just proves its all down to the lad testing the car ,
