Well brought the scooby up to Kells tis evenin for its test and just put a new top mount on the passenger shock and a new cv boot and new tyres and a wash and it passed except for the tinted sun visior soo i had 2 pull it off to get the green slip so not bad for a 14 year old car i suppose wit 180 thousand miles on it

how did you find them in kells nct re: subaru friendly or boy racer haters as im down there end of march.
 
Well ross i wouldn go to cavan test centre cause they are pr*cks, the lads in kells seem nice and i couldn complain about them. They were all over looking at my engine bay when the bonnet was up and i only have a few bits done and a couple of them were chatting to me about the car

mines going in on Tuesday!

i suspect it will fail on, exhaust noise if i can't find my bung, camber (all 4 wheels), the lack of a rear brake light, possible exhaust blow, oh and they can never find the VIN on the bulkhead :wall:

if the exhaust is over 99db it will fail noise test...
shouldnt pass the test by right if they cant find the vin number :dontknow:
camber shouldnt matter unless theres excessive side slip!!

the VIN is there, but i have to show them as they are too dim to move a few vacuums lines
good to know about the camber, a relief, been doing my head in as my local place won't do the camber as "the cars to low" :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

can anyone tell me, i don't have a rear brake light, the one you would usually find in the spoiler, will that give me grief??
 
that was my thoughts! if its not there they can't fail you on it!

my sisters boyfriend failed on his rear ARB bushes, so he took the ARB off :dance: and passed
