Piecing an induction kit together on a hawkeye.

Hello all, just hoping for some advice (im trying to do right by the car and modify it properly).

I have this induction kit to fit to the car:Induction kit.jpeg
I have the standard airbox and a panel filter at present: Ignore the coolant spillage, had a leaky cap.

Am I as well replacing that "S" shaped joiner with a silicone pipe from the likes of RCM? If so, is this the right thing: https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/...products/rcm-samco-air-box-hose-wrx-sti-01-07

the standard air box with a high flow panel filter is good for 400+ hp.

If you're changing the induction for more turbo noise, an aluminum or stainless hard pipe will give you more turbo and induction noises.

Make sure you map the car after you change anything with the intake or you'll be running lean

not 100% sure tbh, I'll be doing the same to mine whenever my engine let's go and I have to rebuild but it'll probably be a custom pipe.

I had a quick look and could only find the inlet elbow (from the S bend to the turbo) rather than the S bend so silicone will just be easier tbh unless you go custom.

That inlet elbow is a nightmare to change as well, if you're putting in a hard pipe it's an manifold off job, you can kinda squish a silicone one onto place.

Im not going that far, I suppose theres little point in me only doing one silicone pipe, ill run it without and see if it stands up to the pressures
