I'm looking for a good setup to wash the car where I'm living now. Currently car is parked in the underground car park with no access to power or water. I have 2 big buckets and that's itn is there any battery powered options available?

Dan the miss got me the above and worked out great for living in an apartment no mess so no pissed off neighbours
Brush was shite though so next time i will spray the car then use a bucket for washing then spray down again.
Its similar to a weed sprayer and aldi had one last week for sale :yellowthumb:

Ah Jaysus... you'd be at it forever... and forget about battery... in the infamous words of Clarkson: you can never 'ave enough Poowwaaaahh!!

:whip: :icon_twisted: :falldownlaugh:

"Neighbours over the edge"... would that be a high edge then, with certain death on the other side? :1poke:
Either way that's just terrible, poor neighbours.
Washing a car with a little knapsack is terrible too though... I think I would lose the will to live. :icon_hang:
Personally don't like washing cars, takes too long, too much like hard work to me and where I live the results probably last the 10 seconds it takes me to drive down my lane.

I don't have neighbours too near though, so I will focus on the finer side of car washing... power-washer upgrades: maybe an Impreza flat-4 on the first one and a turbo and supercharged LS1 on the second yoke? -proper Junkyard Challenge like... :ponder:

Why can't they just invent and use car paint like the new generation nano-tech building paints... where the dirt just falls off and cannot stick as it is sooooo smooth? Wash the car once and forever shiny :smokin:

If there is no space, no electric, no tap and a constraint on noise... then I guess the knapsack seems the only "solution" -- However would you not nearly rather drive to you nearest garage and wash it there?

I'd say they are not fans of the flat 4 & my early morning starts ????????????????

There you go charles ☺

Now.. that's what I'm talking about!
If only it was readily available and didn't need to buy one of those horrible Nissan Notes... :puke3:

BTW was talking to one of the locals the other day... says he hates me not working... now he has to set his alarm as no longer woken by the early morning growling rumble of the Hawk passing at full chat. (and I hardly know the guy like)... All Scooby owners should move to the country - you can enjoy the uncongested country roads, and people don't mind "a little rumble". :falldownlaugh:

@Dan & Billy: would you actually use the knapsack over going to your local garage to use the full size powerwasher?

most of the time the local jet wash is broken or not working properly. And i wont let the brush near my paint. I just go through the automatic washes lately, but after full respray it will have to be cared for a bit better!

Worth considering a paint-sealer like Gtechniq stuff if after getting it sprayed and you want to keep it as pristine as possible.
Not only locks in shine like when new, but also gives additional wear layer to protect against light surface scuffs etc, so have to worry less about automatic washers.
