Greetings lads,

well i recently bought a set of OZ Superleggers from a guy local (ish) to me, and to cut a long story short don't buy wheels unless its light   :new_puppy_dog_eyes:

intact these wheels

look nice dont they

well not on the back they don't, all flaky, bubbly they need a refurb badly, only saw them in the day light today

i know it was stupid, but he seemed like the nicest guy and after giving me a ride in his Type R (davelegacy i believe you built it) i was putty in his hands, but lets not get at me, and point the finger :icon_cry: :icon_cry:

does anyone know of any good powder coaters, at a reasonable price?? preferably around the Munster area??

absolutely gutted

seamus collins dose all my work, has blast unit too, and very fair to pay, he in tralee, if u want i can pass on no

stroked 2.3 i think he said,
symtek ECU mapped my Bob anti lag launch control etc
he was under the impression it was an RA (we all know its not) though it had an RA boot lid i think, so maybe RA light weight panels are on it? also is that a P1 bumper?

had STiTuning decal on the boot

oh yeah and its EFFING FAST :hammerhead:

no, i badgered him down to €350, still to much i know, but its done now, :icon_hang:

needed this exact size to reuse my tires

yep the anti lag sounds awesome!

do you happen to remember what power it put out? has twin maps doesn't it? 1bar and 1.5?

spits a lot of oil out the VTA bump valve though, it what normal :eek7:

no dump valve on it when we built/mapped it?

have not seem it in a year so ive no idea what has been added or modded on it since.

oil catch can and a 20g billet was next plan before he sold it.

Sounds right... I just paid 290 for 17" wheels recently that where dipped/blasted, coated in gunmetal grey and then lacquered with a clear powder coat.

€300 for a set!!

FML
ya lad, ive seen the work that goes into them, blasting each wheel and wheels are the one thing that the powder coating has to be spot on with, ud get away with a set of gates and stuff. thelad in tralee would be bit cheaper but there is travel

Oh ok well if that's the going rate that's ok, stark contrast to the UK where its the norm for them to me like £40 a corner, but hey ho

Its a blast back to the metal, primer, paint and clear

There's no damage to repair on them the faces are immaculate
