Was Looking into getting this done to the Compo's I have on the Car
Getting them done white with a Blue around the rim
The Guys is charging me 80 euro per wheel and Ill have them back after roughly 4-5 days

Just wondering Has anyone ever gotten this done? Is it worth paying out for it ??

Depends where your going TBH,

I got some motrobike wheels done a while back and the finish wasn't great at all. But I hear very good things about Tallaght Powder Coaters.

Just do your research before you send in your wheels in anywhere, find people that have used whatever company and get opinions on them

paint seems to come off even easier after powder coating. just doesnt seem to be as durable as a factory finish

loads of lads i know got them done by talla powder coating for bikes and the finish was great. Spraying wheels is total waste of time in my opinion powder coating is only way ta do it

Ya its that tallagh crowd, dey had a stand up in punchestown dere during the chairty event, thats where i seen it

The wheels are Kurbed and fixing it is included in the price
But I dont want to be forking out money for it , if the paint is going to come away easy

Anyone had dealing with this tallagh crowd?

400euro to get mine done, included 1/2 kerb marks.tooke a wk in total with the courior.
putting some cash aside for getting the 2nd set done in bronze

Got mine done (Wheel in Avatar) a matt black by Tallaght Powder Coating and the job was excellent

I tried three different shades on the one wheel before settling on the matt black and he never charged me for these samples .

All of the wheels were slightly scuffed or curbed and all were finished excellently for me.

The amount of comments I have got from people about the wheels is rediculous.

Your man Jeff in there will look after you

got mine done it Tallaght powder coating, Its a lot easier to get a bacic colour done up, if you try to match a colour thats has any sort of metallic flakes etc in them its very hard to match. got mine done what i though was redone the same colour, as the were originally, the Steel grey rota colour, they turned out more of a brown when they were finished didn't really suit the car so i sold them on. silvers, blacks etc should be grand. I tapped the kerb very very lightly with about 2 cm mark. after a while paint started to flake off a bit more when washing etc, so just be extra careful with them and you will be grand!

I'd love to do my Rotas as some curb damage on them, the only problem is how to drive without the wheels if you have only one set

Did anyone see anything wrong with the quality of their display at Japfest? The finish looked very rough and even the solid colored wheels had obvious paint gaps. :shock2:

some of them were a bit dodge. He quoted me € 363 including Vat to fix the curb damage on all 4 of my superleggeras and a respray/ powdercoat in charcoal grey. Turn out hes a fiend of a friend so hopefully he wont fu@k up. Im off on hols on fri so tempted to leave them in to get done before I go away.

I seen a lad turning a wheel on one of there stands and all the powder coat coming off as he was doing so
