power steering noise?

I just wanted to ask how loud is your power steering? When I start the car and its cold, it makes kinda loud noise. I didnt have such issue with my old Corsa, reason might be that there is different kind of powersteering, other might be that there might be something wrong with the powersteering on my impreza? Is that normal or not, what can be the causes of that? Unfortunately right now, I dont have access to the car, so I cannot check if there is enough fluid, but as soon as I get back home from business trip I will check. What could be the other reasons causing this?
 
Check fluid and power steering belt tension
Had the same problem a while back and it turned out to be frayed belt
Easy enough to change

 
thanks mate! Karma going your way, lets see what that is... I checked the owner's manual and it says that its normal that its kinda laudish while cold... so maybe I am just paranoid:D I always am about my cars:D

By the way, thumbs up for this fella there, who services his WRX in suit with tie:D
