Hey all looking for a power steering pump for my subaru legacy BP5. Old part number 34430AG041, new part number 34430AG0419L. i have tried as suggested in my previous post mattB on scoobynet who supplied one for a member here but he does not have any at the moment. appreciate the help.

We can supply new or refurb

They are not cheap

We do not have second hand at this time

Yes got the price from subaru ireland. Not cheap alright. Don't want to get mine refurbished at the moment. Let me know if you get one in for breaking. Thanks

Imo Says 2 years warranty, what do you have to loose?
How long it would take to find a second hand for a model that there's only handful cars in the country, never mind how many are being broken for part.

Thanks for the link. What would the risk of buying non genuine be? I have been trying to source second hand but no luck so far. I would prefer to stick with genuine parts unless someome can advise otherwise that have had experiences with these in the past.

With the warranty I?d chance it - ?100 even if you only got 2 years from it it would be worth the money. New ones are very expensive to be honest and while I?d usually go oem whenever possible, there is a limit to certain prices

Yes both very fair points. I might go with this so as there is not much out there at the moment. I just noticed the part numbers don't match exact however. Is that an issue? Thanks all

Ok just got a reply back and they said it seems to be a different part number and they do not supply the one i need. Back to the drawing board.

Euro car parts or motor factors if it?s just to get you by might get a spurious part handy be surprised if you didn?t

I have tried there but the search option is awful. When i put in the code i need nothing appears. Have never used it before so would not be familiar with it.

just an option but you can try this lads to sourced for you:

I have tried the local motor factors and they could not find an alternative for this unfortunately

More than likely means it was "pulled off" a junker parts car... so 2nd hand part, that was then reconditioned going by other info in advert.

Might be the one to go for so by what i have been able to see over the last couple weeks?
