I know the 05 WRX is 220bhp - can one else comfirm what the BHP should be with the Prodrive Performace Packs added? doesnt say on the PPP Cert that came with the car. and the garge i got the car off said it was 240BHP.

And someone here said it could be 265BHP - just nice to know what it should be.

it would be 245bhp up from 218bhp standard and the torque would go up from 215 to 261lbft

Welcome to the 'Blobeye' Impreza. So, what did we get? Aggressive, yet more aerodynamic, new front styling; bumper, bonnet, wings and headlamps are all new; stronger throttle response for the WRX; improved engine cooling for the STi; revised dampers to give better handling; STi gained more rigid front suspension and sharper steering; interior quality upgrade - new cloth trim and revised centre console; more safety features added.

In the UK a "Prodrive Performance Pack" was announced for the new STi models, this would bring your scooby up to 300BHP, torque peaking at 299lbft at 4000rpm, a top speed of 155mph and a 0-60mph of 4.6 seconds. The standard WRX could be treated to a "Prodrive WR Sport Performance Pack" raising the horses from 218 to 245BHP and torque from 215 to 261lbft.

Sorry Duffman didnt mean to sound smart. I knew the PPP on an STI brought it up to 305bhp so I wasnt 100% sure if the WRX went up 40 BHP aswell so thats why I said I was right so :thumbsup:

i will let ye know what the garage says tomorrow. the ones that actaully fiftted the PPP.
 
garage can "say" what they "think" but only a rollin road print will tell you what she actually is imo!!!

Just Comfirmed it by Donnellys in Belfast who installed the PPP she is the same as the STI so between 260-262BHP

So a nice surpise for me.. :subaru:

I asked the guy in Donnellys about that.. and he said dont use it with the PPP that 95 petrol is fine and if i see super unleaded buy that for the extra boost.
 
can that ppp pack be fitted at any stage or does it have to be fitted under certain miles on the clock
