Don't think so! He was supposed to be taking a left (see the car that comes down the road while he's talking to camera) and it looked like he didn't make it on the brakes. Where he f**ked up it looked like he tried to do a u-turn and took the cameraman out of it!
I can't see any finish line either :dontknow:
 
Aye, not a finsih line, its yellow barrier tape. I can c the left he was supposed to take.

Funny how he tries to reverse away though
 
I'dsay the fact that he didn't brake at all would indicate that the brakes had failed. The reverse and get the fu*k out of here bit was good alright.
 
I think he was trying to handbrake turn to get back onto the course (where he was supposed to turn left) but he clearly mad a balls of it.

Hope the camera man was OK.
 
it looks like his brakes locked up or he just started to slide under braking, just before he gets to the left turn you can see smoke or water spray coming from the front wheels....
 
Looks like his brakes work he just didnt brake in time and decided to overshoot. Then tries to do a hand brake turn without pulling the handbrake :lol:
 
far to slow for a handbrake turn and was in desperation to get her around, those gearboxes are not user friendly in bad situations, he would of lost a lot of time trying to reverse out of there
