customer should be kept informed all the way through so unexpected bill doesnt happen.
hmmmmm should i say more

absolutely... what you need to say work away..
well dave as i have dealt with you, i would say you could deal with some customers better, after all you did take over a month to change clutch and do a service, even tho my objective was to have you check the overall condition with changing clutch and give a honest opinion of whats best doing, to which you failed upon completing, also you gave me no update and i had to get onto you about collecting and when i did you told me more work was needed, which was disappointing which would result in you doing a tear down twice, which if you notified me you could of just taken engine out done the clutch, service it and do the rocker gaskets and other bits you mentioned, just merely constructive critisim as you seem oblivious to how you deal with some customers,

Hi,

I have went through my records and now know it was Darrens old V2 Navy WRX.

Couple points:

after all you did take over a month to change and do a service. : I HAVE NO RECORDS OF DROP OFF AND COLLECTION DATE SO CAN'T COMMENT EXACTLY. BUT I CERTAINLY CANNOT SEE HOW OR WHY WOULD HAVE OR COULD HAVE BEEN THIS TIMEFRAME. AND WAS IN FOR A OIL CHANGE AND NOT A SERVICE.

even tho my objective was to have you check the overall condition with changing clutch and give a honest opinion of whats best doing, to which you failed upon completing. : CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS FURTHER? AS CAR CAME IN FOR AS SAID A CLUTCH AND A OIL CHANGE. AS CAN SEE BELOW A DAMAGED TURBO INLET PIPE WAS REPLACED AND A FAILED LAMBDA SENSOR. ADVISORY NOTES ARE A REAR DIFF SEAL LEAK AND BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT ROCKER COVER GASKET LEAKS.

which would result in you doing a tear down twice, which if you notified me you could of just taken engine out done the clutch, service it and do the rocker gaskets and other bits you mentioned,: CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHAT WOULD NEED A TEAR DOWN TWICE? AS BOTH IN DIFFERENT AREAS. WE WOULD NOT REMOVE AN ENGINE TO DO ROCKER GASKETS. WOULD BE DONE IN PLACE. CLUTCH CHANGE BY GEARBOX REMOVAL.

PLEASE FIND SNIPPIT OF WORK CARRIED OUT AND ADVISORY NOTES FROM DOCKET.

Hi

please remind me of your car and when this job took place? This was a 96 MH V2 was in sept 2011 YES FOUND DOCKET 27/09/2011
are you saying work was carried out without your permission? No THANK GOD FOR THAT. :)

are you saying you did not give permission for work and were not advised
of costings and got a surprise bill?? No and had no real issues with bill altho you didnt advise of cost which was roughly 1400 HI WE WOULD ALWAYS ADVICE OF COSTINGS. IN SOME CASES CANNOT AS IN IF ENGINE BUILD SAY NOT KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT PARTS ARE DAMAGED OR NEED REPLACING. BUT IN THIS CASE ALL PARTS/LABOUR TIME WOULD HAVE BEEN KNOWIN GIVE OR TAKE e100.00
that is not how we work? so please explain???? My main point is that i never heard anything of what needed doing over the period you had it, if you had mentioned it i would of got you to do it, GIVING THE TIMEFRAME BEING 1 1/2 YEARS AGO I CANNOT COMMENT OF COMMUNICATION WE HAD.

if further issues were found then you would be advised? never would a repair be carried out without go ahead from customer. you found further issues which wasnt tended to nor was it advised to me while you had the car AS SAID PREVIOUSLY WE WOULD NEVER DO ANY WORK WITHOUT PERMISSION OF OWNER. IN YOUR CASE WE MAY HAVE BEEN BOOKED OUT FREE TIME WISE AND ADVISED TO RE-BOOK IN AGAIN TO DO ANY ADVISORY NOTES WORK.

Can you please let me know if you had any issues with the standard of work that was carried out and completed?

BUT I CERTAINLY CANNOT SEE HOW OR WHY WOULD HAVE OR COULD HAVE BEEN THIS TIMEFRAME. AND WAS IN FOR A OIL CHANGE AND NOT A SERVICE.since ive my reasons for having documents of all my tranactions, i do have the receipt of hire of trailer on the day it was dropped over, and was actually first week in august, so i can reassure you ive no doubts about timeframe,

even tho my objective was to have you check the overall condition with changing clutch and give a honest opinion of whats best doing, to which you failed upon completing. : CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS FURTHER? I was referring to the rocker gaskets as they were so obviously leaking to which you never advised until collection, with the timeframe you had the car you could of gave me a ring a ding ding and i would of gave the go ahead?

which would result in you doing a tear down twice, which if you notified me you could of just taken engine out done the clutch, service it and do the rocker gaskets and other bits you mentioned,: CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHAT WOULD NEED A TEAR DOWN TWICE? AS BOTH IN DIFFERENT AREAS. WE WOULD NOT REMOVE AN ENGINE TO DO ROCKER GASKETS. WOULD BE DONE IN PLACE. CLUTCH CHANGE BY GEARBOX REMOVAL.I may have explained that wrong, but imo wouldnt it of bein easier to take engine out and do the clutch and whilist out do the rocker gaskets and others as mentioned aswell, instead paying labour charges for taken gearbox etc out, then pay you labour for loosing up the engine for doing the gaskets, as it turned out one of the rocker bolts was rung which need a helicoil inserted, i have the receipt here also,

PLEASE FIND SNIPPIT OF WORK CARRIED OUT AND ADVISORY NOTES FROM DOCKET.

standard of work was great, just the lack of contact and assessment of what needed doing compared to what got done as i would of bein happier coming away without having to come back again,

AND I BELIEVE AS YOU SAY YOU HAD ISSUES WITH A ROCKER BOLT AT ANOTHER LOCATION THAT THESE COMMENTS ARE HINDSIGHT ONES. WE FOR THE LAST COUPLE YEARS WILL NOT DO A ROCKER COVER REPAIR UNLESS WE USE NEW BOLTS FOR THESE REASON.

THAT CERTAINLY I CAN ASSURE YOU IS TOTALLY INACCURATE AND NOT FACT
