Prepping your car for track day

hmmm my brakes seem to be not stopping so good the last 2 days, feels like glass on glass, pads and disks look fine, maybe some glazing on the pads , ill have to take them out and have a look

Mainly keep an eye on it John, if you still have that free bridgestone tyre pressure gauge it would be perfect.

Tyre pressures will rise quite a long way with the heat being generated. The track experts will advise you best but I'd imagine you would be running 25psi maximum at cold to allow for pressure build up. Check them each time you come back into the pits too.

best thing to do is go out with 30 psi in each type, warm them up to full temp after a few hot laps and then come in and check straight away what presure is in each, you will want 30 when hot so if its 35 when you come in drop the presure to 30 which will then make them 25 when cold.

each tyre could be different as some get used more .

Thanks lads!
