Have been having issues with the legacy Last few weeks cel going on and off car feeling like its holding back only when cel comes on getting code 22 & 31 which is showing knock sensor and throttle position sensor sounds like air leak when boosting to 4k revs( when cel is on) then its grand checked hoses etc cant find air leak scoobycolm drove it last night and felt it too.colms coming over tonight to help me clean the throttle body which his mate reckons it could be.when i do this im gona reset the ecu and see if the codes come back.anybody else ever have this issue?iv noticed it more since maxol stopped doing e5 but iv never used booster in it and have used different garages before tesco,apple etc with no problems.
Just want to thank colm for his help over the last few weeks sorted me with hoses etc

billy maxol havent stopped using e5

apple green are doing e5 to aswell but you shouldnt see any difference in fuel anyway.

make sure to mark the throttle position sensor when taking it out as it has to go back in the same way and to the same position, but that could be your problem?

have you changed the knock sensor?

No havnt changed the knock sensor gona try the tps first then flash ecu and see what happens im hoping its an old code for the knock sensor its the first time i read the codes through the black blocks
A lad i know told me maxol would not be doing e5 anymore due to costs or somthing must let him know

First off i wanna say a massive thanks to colm he came over to my place and spent way longer than i expected him to helping me out my car is now running perfect it looks like the new boost pipes i fitted myself a few months ago worked themself loose and were pissing oil all over everything cleaned the throttle body some connectors and refitted the boost pipes and intercooler and all codes were gone running realy nice sounds better and is boosting proper.
Im so happy now has realy wrecked my head last few weeks i nearly sold it for nothing thinking it was fooked.
This is the reason i love been in the club
The help and advice from other members is great.
