Prodrives Proton WRC....

They are based on the Mitsubishi mirage, basically a lancer coupe. Had a 1.5 one years ago.
It's cool lookin, very similar to impreza from the side alright.
Gearbox and belt are on the opposite sides like the older mitsubishis.
 
is that silver one another wrc behind it. what a waste if they are just left in the yard to rot.
I hope someone is putting them to use.
 
Yeah that's the 2nd one they produced behind it... And I gather they are just sitting there in protons headquarters in the UK... Not for sale either

Read elsewhere they were in the UK... On A more reliable rally forum. Apparently they are prodrive and hewland parts... Awful waste

you couldn't where I am, lads be breaking in robbing bits from the brakes

i'll start tonight, I've a length of 6 inch box iron left over for the chassis rails.
