Project Binky!! Savage workmanship!!!

Watched the first couple of episodes so far very good. One question, why doesn't he do full welds instead of leaving gaps? Is there a purpose for the gaps between the welds?
 
Each episode pushes the boundaries further with outside the box thinking and ingenuity.

Only gripe is that we have to wait so long for each episode as its great viewing :thumbsup:

Doing continuos welds will put too much heat into the metal and distort it. Less chance of that happening if it's stitch welded i.e. spaced apart
 
As above you could go back fill in between the welds when there cold but there would be no real point as it is strong enough anyway. Nice work :clap:
