So as some of you know myself and Adrian built a ford puma 1.7 trackcar and used it for some trackdays just as a bit of a laugh. Unfortunately the puma suffered with extensive rust issues on the chassis as do most of them and was not safe or Economical to repair so we decided to strip off any of the good parts and to use them on an other project. Adrian removed the engine, gearbox wiring loom and big brake kit from the puma and off she went to the scrappers.
Now we had to decide what to do with the parts, being always up for a laugh we decided to use all the puma parts in a ford fusion [emoji23] I know I see everyone laughing. But people also laughed at me when I built the ka...
The reasons we decided to go with the fusion was that it's basically a fiesta so all fiesta parts fit it and it's also light at 1050 kgs on the road so stripped it should be Round 900 kgs
Also it was cheap we gave 100 euros for it with a blown engine.
And the third reason was we wanted to show people that any car can be a fun track car and it doesn't have to be a k20 civic or a big power scooby or evo.
So here is the car and the build has started I'll update as we go [emoji106]
