Old Tints are some hassle to remove good job

Very annoyed that I can get classic insurance but not classic tax hate this country's road taxc its a fkkin joke . To tax this car for a year is 994 euro and I might drive it 3 times a year how does that make sense i pay more tax than some aul one with a new Micra who drives it everyday and emits more emmsions a week than I I would in a year

HI gents well its been awhile but I still have the legacy ,
cleaned it up very well took the tints off it , anyway I finally got the log book and its a very old log book and it has had 0 previous owners .

So 1998 Subrau Legacy
4 Wheel Drive
2.2 Automatic
Electric windows mirrors and air con.
Original Subaru tape deck Head unit and working electric aerial
All original books with it .
Also all original un-stained or marked interior with original legacy floor matts
Reason for such good interior is the low low low mileage , 44k on the clock.
not 440 k 44k on the clock .
0 previous owners same owner from new.
all original engine.
2 original Subaru Keys with alarm and immobilizer.

I will be pulling it outta the shed next week .
Has anyone got and legacy plastic hub caps laying about I could have for a few euros I need 2 .
Ideally id like to sell this car to a collector or a Subaru legacy fantatic who wants a bit of untouched history .

I drove the car home from Dublin to Wexford and it drives like a dream not a bother on it .
I wouldn't say it would take more than 300 euro to get it nctd and part of that would be new tires lol

Would anyone know what this car could be worth before I put it on done deal next week ?
Ive seen some unmolested ones for for as high as 3k but with its low low mileage and 0 previous owners its deffo an appreciating classic

To be honest and you’re not going to like this reply but you’re going to have a tough time getting anyone to give you that kind of money . It’s 900 a year road tax for a 98 automatic white box on bad tyres that needs belts fluids filters bushings drop links abs maybe a few bearings . And you’re Probley thinking it’s worth 4-5k as it has 44 thousand kilometres on the clock .

I’ll be honest and say you’ll be luck to get 1000 euros for it . It’s just not a sought after car . Personally I wouldn’t give 500 for it
Again this is just my personal opinion but best of luck with the sale

IMO It's an acquired taste even within the Subaru community, so ask what you want as you are aiming at that one specific buyer that will want it.

so 0 previous owners and by the looks of the mileage barely even a thousand miles put on it since its last NCT many moons ago

Looks like it was imported in 2000 so previous owners from outside Ireland wouldn’t really show . But having 1 owner or 6 doesn’t really make any differance

The owner of it imported it he bought it new his name is on the log book and the original bill of sale nice bit of history tho

A lot of work done today seats out hoovered and cleaned and took all tar and dirt off it and new battery in it too looking spiffy for an old lady
