anyone know someone who can repair these things
mine wont save any games !!!!
just stops after 60% and the screen locks up..
proper pissed off with it now!!!
 
How long have you got it?
you get a 1 year garentee with them if its less than a year old
sony will take it back and fix it for free :thumbsup:
 
don't know anyone who repairs them thing you have to send them to sony . but had the same problem with mine would stop saving at 70% was like that for a week and then it stopped loading games and Cd's so took it back and had it replaced in argos but it was less than a year old .
 
as kanye said or bring it down to sony centre in scotch hall or maybe gamestop.... sony centre will prob cost a bomb but get a quote off them anyway :thumbsup:
 
If you got it for Christmas in 2008, then is it still not under warranty?? Id imagine the warranty runs till december of this year.. :dontknow: :dontknow:
 
u could try "console repairs" up in dublin , they might be able to help or give advice over phone

01-2761111 might be worth a try , or find someone with a 6 month old ps3 and use their reciept to get a new one

Bring it back to where you got it from
make them either replace or have it
repaired, their is a long ongoing problem
with these, my son is on his 3rd one.
 
Is it the one with the 40gb hard drive Marko...if so, you should be able to get it replaced as Alan said, there was a known problem with them!!!

I have a 360 since they first came out (2/3 years)
it packed up at xmas got straight on to
microsoft it was picked up two days
later by UPS and sent to Germany for
repair got it back two weeks later with
a months free subscription to Xbox live.
cost to me....... Nothing.
 
My girlfriends brother brought his back to where he bought it without the receipt and got it replaced..if that doesnt work for you, ring sony and they will replace it for you as its a known fault with that model, check the fourth post from the top out on the link below...I know it was a good while ago but still you should ring them mate!!!!

i have an elite and got the 3 red lights :icon_cry: but the xbox is the job it is brill on line had a ps3 for a week and got rid of it but there is a lad in bray that fixes xbox and ps3 mark 50 yoyos and if he cant fix it you dont pay him i can get it out there for you if you want :thumbsup:
