Alright lads,

Pretty sure the Radiator on the B4 is gone, its not a bad leak at the moment, rang a guy in radiator services about getting a new 1 but he says there are a few different ones. He says he'd need the dimensions or to actually see the rad but unfortunately I cant get down there until next thursday or friday.

In the meantime, I heard about full aluminium rad's but dont really know much them, heard they give much better cooling and much more reliability? I saw a koyo one on ebay in the US but it is part plastic. What kind of price would i be lookin at versus stock?
 
Speak to Alan(555scooby)he got one for johnny(aliminium one),and he has no probs,i thought all our rads are the same...? :ponder:
 
Ye i know, was talkin Al alright, he recommended radiator services to me, but i just wanted to see what info i could get, as in whether i should stick with stock or go full aluminium until i get up to see them next week. Is there any real benefit for an otherwise stock car?

The shiny 1's look nice :D but my pockets are far from deep :cry:
 
No...if your car is stock then a stock rad is fine,But the alil rad look cool and will neva rust,and mite bring down your water temps slightly but other than go for a stock one...in my opinion... :thumbsup:
 
Cheers man, i was thinkin of just going stock for the moment but in the future i do plan on doing what i can with it, downpipes, new exhaust etc etc but i think its fine for the moment :thumbsup:
 
i got mine from rad services in jan,i did bring it in to him to have a look.the b4's are different to the imprezas.
maybe ring them and see if he can remember getting mine
 
If It's auto then you'll have the gearbox fliud cooler built in to the rad also!!
Rad services know there stuff but there is also a company in walkinstown that will repair your rad for €50!
I'll try get the number tomorrow!

Hey Rob dont think Johnny will be to happy you saying i got him his rad as he got it himself........
