Radio Control Drifting

Yeah, that's my Toyota Soarer:)
I only mess about there once in a blue moon. Kinda boring doing it alone.

I bought mine from Boyztoys in Dublin about 2 years ago. But they closed down recently.
I got an HPi one, and haven't had any problems yet.

I bet there should be a online UK hobbyshop that you can get one from.

Not in a long time. The mini's engine is not running great and the pug needs front suspension parts (hit a kerb at full speed)

All fun until it breaks. The little cars are so fragile. I broke my pull starter just after making that video. Sucks balls.

used to have a 1/10th scale Impreza WRX Blob eye
That was used for years on a BMX track beside my mates place in Belfast
always had great craic with it!!!!

Was lookin at buyin a 1/5th scale Audi a while back.... was rated to about 70mph (with a few tuning parts added) they were capable of almost 90mph

Great drifting video Dude,
Have you ever tried it in a real car? Do you ind the RC experiance helpfull?
Dan

Thanks Dan,
I learned how to drift on the farm when I was younger.
We also had an abandoned speedway dirt track in my hometown. Perfect place to throw some drifts.

I wouldn't say that if you could drift RC cars, that you can just climb in a normal car an do the same.
But the same rule applies for the balance between oversteering and throttle usage and not to spin out, and corner entry etc.

It's my dream to start drifting as a profession. Just wish I had a garage/shed to store a track car.

Had a Nitro 4 Tec and T-maxx, sold the 4 Tec a while ago but still have the T Maxx,

I use to work in a place building / repairing them, so done a lot with my own. alloy bits all over it

Haven't used it in years though
