The rally of the lakes is on the same weekend as a bike trip a few lads off the bike forum I'm on have planned for that area.

From what i've heard the rally is on the Saturday and Sunday which will mean closed roads.

Their trip starts on the Thursday the 28th of April. Is there a way of finding out what roads will be closed over the four days or does anyone on here know.

Any info will be great lads. :thumbsup:

I might be able to find out when it will be done, a friend of mine is responsible for uploading content on that site. I'll send him a mail.

Details of planned road closures (rallies etc) normally don’t get published until 2-3 weeks beforehand – they get sent to papers for publishing and emailed to me to publish on website but usually appear on website a few days before paper. When I get notification I can email on details or alternatively your buddy can ring the Roads Dept direct @ Tel: (066) 7183652.
 
roads will only be closed for sat and sunday as far as i know so far saturday stages will be molls gap shanera and caragh lake sunday will be molls gap,ardgroom,beallachbema,healy pass cods head this has been published by the motor club hope this helps
 
Well, this turned out to be the best time I've had at a rally yet, weather was good, got some good viewing spots about halfway up Moll's gap on Saturday, then camped out on Healy pass Saturday night and had access to the best viewing points ever for Sunday. Took plenty of pics, here's a few of the scoobies that were around;

OH that old leggy was sweet!!!!!! thanks for posting, couldn't make it down really wanted to make beara and healy pass stage's
