im doing the day out at the rally school in dungarvan at the weeknd :653: im just wondering has anyone here tried it, is it any good?? :dontknow:
 
the name of it is rally connection around dungarvan somewhere.

im sure it should be good craic alrite, i mean going around a gravel track with a rear wheel drive car :multijump: what else do you need. :icon_grin:
 
@ stevo Well lad, da brother just got tis as a gift dere 2, so just wonderin wud u let us know wats its like after da wknd and wat cars u got 2 drive. Hope u have a great day... :thumbsup:
 
thats the same one i did, drove a mk2 escort with a 1600 vauxhall engine.. it was nice and wet when i did it..fookin sweet! ur man tom (i think thats his name) is sound aswell..only prob i had with it was me and my mate had 2 travel from dublin which is i thought was a bit of a trek.. but well worth the money great day out enjoy it lads! :thumbsup:
 
have to say lads that day out was good craic, we were split up into 2 groups one has a mk2 escort 1600 and the other :icon_grin: had a 2L rear wheel drive impreza (they modified it from a 4wheel drive). we did about 16 laps altoghter around a tarmac track then a few laps on gravel. the instructors we very good, your last lap was timed and one of them was sitting beside you pushing you on. i'd recommend it to anyone :thumbsup:

the guy reckoned i would be more suited to the subaru :icon_grin:, he fealt i was a bit too tall to get into the escort.

@dohcturbo - it was €245 for the day, it started at 9 and we finished up about half 2 i think.

i drove the B4 up and if i was doing it again id have to take something else, the roads going up most of the way were brutal :angry1: :angry1:

Thats not too bad a price, might be within reach of a few club members for an event next year :ponder2:

yea i know, went in a transit the day i did it so was a bita craic tryin to find it! especially when we met other cars on them windy lanes!
