THE 600+HP FLAT-6, MID-ENGINED SUBARU IMPREZA YOU NEVER KNEW EXISTED...
This is a proper Gem lost in Time. Yuji Kase, the boss of Cusco Racing/Carrosser campaigned this monstruous EJ33 Turbo, mid-engined Subaru Impreza in the crazy Class D of Japan Dirt Trial series for almost a decade.
A 600+Hp Monster powered by a Flat-6 engine and sporting an aluminum monocoque, Cusco?s own long stroke suspension, among many other bespoke parts, this Beastis probably the most unique rally-spec Impreza ever.
For those with a keener eye, they?ll see the similarities with the GT300 Impreza?s that Cusco prepared for the Super GT series, and that would be a correct guess since both the cars share the same platform. In this clip it?s possible to see this Monster?s 3 different versions in a period span that lasted between 2000 to 2004. And before that, believe it or not, this machine had its looks based on the Porsche 911...but that?s a story for another day...
