just want to know when u should be getting a rebuild done, or getting the engine reconitioned.

how much does it all cost?

mite be a stupid question but does it start your engine life over again from 0 miles, i know the clock would read different.
 
You'd only get a rebuild done after your engine sh1ts itself... Or if you are upgrading internals for bigger power...

Cost depends on who does it and what you are getting done...
 
As above. price for an engine build would be determined by what poweer figure you would be looking for there are a lot of difference engine specs ect.
 
oh ok, i thought u just had to get in reconditioned after so many miles.

a nice clean up with degreaser and stuff should be fine so. dont have to go splashing out big money
 
Get someone that knows Subaru engine's to listen to it. If your mechanic has a stethescope, you can usually hear a slight rumble before from the crank, months before it lets go. Doing it before it goes can save a few euro.
