at this stage theres fu*k all u can do other than apply for everything but the amount of people going for jobs is ridiculous. i heard of a pub that had a job going and had over 300 applicants when before recession they be lucky to have got 30/40!!!

i assume its up in coolock/darndale area!!!
:dontknow: :dontknow:
good luck with it tony

yep tony its in darndale behind halfords

they have opened up bigger now and fit the spare parts for you there as well as supply

good luck with the interview

i'm still ok but got my wages stopped to the point i wont get a payrise anymore and still waiting on a new contract :icon_redface:

i'm there eight years but that doesnt matter to any company at the moment

Place i am working is not on top of world either, i was working a shift, and they took us off it, lost 20% shift bonus as a result, about 3 months after i was asked to move over to fabrication section and i did, and was very lucky, about 1 month later the section i was in went on 3 day week, feel really sorry for my old work mates and bit guilty that i still have a full time job and they dont.. and if being put on a 3day week or loosing your job isnt bad enuf for people, you then hear about these guys getn 400k+ salary :angry1:

good luck there tony.......bit of a trip in the mornins but worth it if it comes about.
as for the recession we were just made take a pay cut in the job, and that coupled with up and comming creche payments means i might have to sell the b4 and go back to driving my little saxo. ive noticed also that we are still really busy in work but ppl and other wholesalers we deal with are buying just as often but not as much meaning the money we are bringing in does not reflect our workload.

good luck tony.....

i'm safe too. at the mom. they rather let other people from other departments go and seems like they trying to keep everyone in the department i work in......but there where talks bout redundancy....so just wait and see.....

The new Goverment pension levie will be taken out of my wages from the 1st of march. On a basic week I'll be down €50.

Every penny I earn after that will also be subject to it.

At least I still have a job.

Sorry to hear all these bad story's the government need to get a grip and sort this fu*k up out :angry1:
