remapping in ireland?

Hi guys & gals, I have a 06 2L WRX prodrive have from new and I’m sick of puttin octane booster in it as it will not run right without it, am looking to get it remapped, is there anywhere in Ireland you would recommend??? (oh and i thought i read on here a while back that you can't remap a prodrive ECU) i'm not sure about this either?
my wee side light is blown also and I’m looking to get a wee bulb for it, do you know if the whole light will have to come off the car just to change the bulb or is there an easier way to get it out??

Thanx Murph

If its a UK/Irish Prodrive WRX there should be no need for octane booster... just run it on E5 from any Maxol garage.

even though my car is Irish Jamie , there is still a sticker on the fuel door saying to use 99ron or higher , so id say the prodrive wrx is the same , maybe thats why he's running with booster added , no harm playing it safe

@Murph , joe power is the man to talk to about mapping the car , he will be getting mine in the new year for sure !

If standard with no mods then running on Maxol E5 should be perfectly fine without any octane booster.

And yes you can map the ppp ecu.

Maxol e5 with octane booster should be fine to be honest. I know quite a few Subaru owners that use that and its fine. Just don't make any exceptions lol. But if you do go for a remap then Joe power is your man. He did my forester und the car drives amazing with 222bhp and 250ft lbs torque.

The car should run fine on 95 if its an original irish car as you've bought from new. Try run it on E5 and if it still runs bad, then I would think you have a problem elsewhere.

What octane booster were you using?

Maxol and bang it up on a dyno to check the fueling etc cost €80 just to be sure .Having to put Octane booster in a road car imo is a joke

thanx guys i'll give Joe Power a call.. ran car on E5 and its like there's no turbo, same as 95ron, runs 221.6bhp on the dyno, then put octane in it and got 271bhp, was told by Martin in westward engineering back in 2006 that the car isn't runnin right without the octane or superunleaded, that the prodrive pack needs 97 or higher. been using Lucas octane booster, half bottle per fill dose the job. just getin a pain in my ass with it.
thanx again lads
