Resonator Box removed today

Very easy job to do, a few bolts and its out.

Nice "sucking" sound coming from the air box now.

Good stuff, get a video of it up, does yours make that flutter noise when you lift off the accelerator?

Yes very slightly but too much gas and it all goes out the HKS SSQV.

Just wondering if this is the resonator box in the wing of the car just before the air box? :ponder2:
will this have any affect on the MAF?
How do you get it out is it from underneath inside the wing liner? :dontknow:

Yes it is in the wing of the car.
Cant see how it affects the MAF in a bad way.
You take it out down through the drivers side wheel arch (remove wheel to give yourself more space, remove inner arch plastic and there it is)

is there a nice grunt off it? worth doing? :ponder2:
 
I still have standard airbox with Green panel filter.

Not so much a grunt noise. More of a loud rush of air being sucked. For the noise alone its worth doing.
 
Im Convenced anyway, ive the same a hks panel filter, soill have to attack it tonight, after putting on a quiter exhauct for the nct next week so need a bit of noise, :dance:
