ring crash

vid removed , and the only other one i could find was of the vette about 10 mins pre crash goin around a bend (boring)
 
Yeah they took it down..it's illegal to film on board at TF...it was pretty damning video the signs was just over the crest coming out of a fast right hander and then the road works were at a tight left hander...probably Wagon Dec knows the section, Bergwerk ,I've never been round so can't really comment just on what people where saying on jalopnik...

Yeah very true Dave...they bill you for everything..armco..recovery..track closure..scary bills if you have a spill
 
looks like it happened just after bergwerk it is a series of 4 corners, and they are flat out once you come out of bergwerk no lift off at all so in a corvette or m3 you would be doin a serious rate of speed very silly to have roadworks out on a tourist day glad no one was hurt,if ye watch one of my videos from 5,32-6.02 that hard right hander is bergwerk it looks to have happened over the crest before the fourth left all of that from bergwerk is full throttle serious speed

Exactly right the sign was on the crest going into the left hander so it was narrowing people to the outside of the bend, 1 car gap..was only visible at the last minute...the ring taxi driver in the M3 should of been more aware he ploughed up the arse of the slowing cars

The ring taxi guy fcuked up the worst so someone with his experience goes to show how dangerous the layout was
 
omg ive never seen anyone drive around the ring that fast before..... , in reverse . he was fookin flying and them nose drifts were impressive . jacket got ,heading for door..... :icon_rolleyes:

but on a slightly more serious note goes to show how quickly traffic can accumulate after an accident on a blind bend at this place !
risky buisness flying over a blind crest at speed ! warnings were poor and need to be revised to up safety level !
 
They were asking for an accident with cones layed out like that only the width of a car space left after coming over a crest doing 100 mph or so :naughty:
