Donal-dont even consider it. Youre looking at roll cage(and bolt in are crap),seam weld, suspension, engine rebuild with anti lag, poly bushes, stronger diff,RA box, braided brake lines, competition tank, brakes, wheels, tyres, seats, harnesses, intercom, helmets, fire proof underwear, boots, gloves, suits, fire eater system, and upwards of 400euro entry fees for one day events. Plus you have to finish 4 events in a 1600 before you can go 2000cc. And in a GC8 youll be in class 15-which is a bit of a nowhere class at the moment. Id go for a ready built 1600 pinto mk2 to start-after 4 events you can swop the engine for a 2.0 red top or similar.
