Absolute wedding cars is what you want ken, they have a new phantam

think it is a 2006
was on that dont tell the bride show last week
mate used it for his wedding
big pimp wheels and bodykit on it
think the driver is a customer off ours in work so i can find out more if you like
was connected to the city west hotel

nicer one off the 60's one going around in silver
also a white one wich is very very nice and would be my choice
some classic car dealers may give you a lend off a car for a fee and get a driver your self lots of people do that
drove a good few myself for people over the years as I used to hve a chauffer buisness with my old fella a few years back :icon_blahblah:

not going in a subaru lads :sucks:

Be prepared to pay though, I wanted to do this but it was crazy money, ended up getting a new type Bentley instead for the going rate for wedding cars.
Your only in the car for about half an hour in total!! Think they wanted either 600 or 800 euro, it was ludicrous money anyway for the phantom.

Also I used my own car for my transport and the best man and groomsmen!!
Have ribbons there ya can borrow for the spec C, the good ones that don't mark the paint!

Think what 800 euro could buy for your Scooby? You would be better off getting a mate with a fresh Beemer or Merc to bail you out and give them 100sods for a few hours. :cuckoo:

Ah I wouldn't be going to go and pay that kind of money anyhow, Fuk that. I have heard that the silver phantom was your man that owns citywest.

See what you can find out Colm.

Tbh I just don't like the old vintage stuff, I probably can get my hands on a few options, but that rolls Royce did look well :)

600 a day! a bentley arnage might be good investment...you'd get a decent 2000 model for 20k...even if you asked for 400 a day you only have to rent it 50 times and its paid for itself

When you consider photographers prices, the DVD guys price, flowers price, 600 for the rolls Royce starts to seem not to bad of value .... And that's not saying much

mention a wedding and the euro signs start rolling ken you can say 1500 each for the 3 you mentioned

It all adds up alright but ya end up tryin to save where ya can and its mostly stuff the groom wants that gets cut!!!!! I used the money I saved on the car to get mine a bit of a detail!!
Don't forget cost of a band in that list its another 1500-2500!!!

Were ya at the RDS at the weekend there Ken for the free cake samples?

Everything is nearly a grand, people just quote you a grand as soon as they here wedding. I was thinking of booking a hotel to organise a "gathering" and probably halve the cost of everything :wall:

Its a joke really, one day... 15-20k... and i thought messing with scoobies was expensive

just on the side note , I am in the wedding business. Do You know how much a stand costs on a wedding show like the one at RDS ? The cheapest Wedding Fair at a hotel is 200 € for a 6`table . Insurance, tax for the wedding car?
It is expensive to pay 600 € for only a car ( the cheapest I know is 350 for a Chrysler 300C in Athlone area) but They have maybe 2 days a week to make money.
The best option to get a friend with a decent car. A spec-C perhaps :)

What do you do BAwagon?

Rds show is crazy money from memory but I can't remember the figure.
Wasn't that wedding show in athlone near 700 for the 2 days?

Yea what area of it are you in man??

Well got a price on the Rolls, i still feel a bit violated.. 795 for the too and from Church. For a Comaparison, the Baby Bently "Chrysler" is 380

i reckon the Chrysler is more of a rip of than the the rolls..you won't get in a roller for less than a 100k sterling probably 150k euro, get a 300c for about 15k.

at that price you need to work the roller for over 200 days, taking into account servicing cost and deprecation with mileage...the 300c pays for its self in about 35
