Fergie will do anything for the good of the team. It is obvious this guy wants to go so Fergie has made the right decision to let him go.

Im a Man Utd fan Im relieved this is finally getting sorted and Im very happy to see Ronaldo go. Sure he is a world class player but Im sick of his tantrums and falling on the ground, not getting back up and tracking back.
Not to mention the lie he told the press at the Champions League Final. "Im am at a great club and I will stay"

He finally got what he wanted.
 
Thats great money for him Think of the quality players that could be bought for that money. If i was fergie i would drive him all the way to Madrid just to make sure the transfer goes through.
Wasn't his biggest fan but to be fair he did have some season in 07 - 08.

Its a shame that he is leaving, he is a worldclass player, man u will be lost without him, they will never get a player of his talent again, sure there is a lot of top class players out there but they dont have the skill and speed that ronaldo has, i agree with andy about his tantrums, i was sick of that too, but he will be a loss to man u :icon_sad:

Who will man u buy for £80 million?, messi maybe :ponder:

I would like to see him coming to man u great player :icon_pray:
 
If Ronaldo is worth £80m then Messi is worth $160m. Don't forget the final, when supposedly the 2 best players in the World were going head to head.
 
Let him go... Im a united fan, and a fan of Ronaldo... No player is bigger then a team, and as Andy said Fergie will only do whats best for the team.

I hope Real fall on their faces next season.. Ronaldo needs the players like Rooney etc to perform...

Now the next question...Where to spend the 80 million?

I think the deal was already done anyway last year...all of a sudden the talk just died down..same thing with beckham the deal had been done before the played utd at old trafford in the semis
 
Its about time!! I definately don't think United will be lost without him. People said the same when Van Nistlerooy and Beckham were sold and United managed just fine without them. Even scored more goals throughout the season after Van Nistlerooy was sold although he was supposedly our only scoring resource!

€80m is a lot of money that can buy a lot of quality. Personally i'd like to see United buy Ribery but if his interview the other day is anything to go by i don't think that will be happening! ??Maybe Iniesta?? :dontknow:
 
Fook him, let him go, I just hope that they made him hand in a transfer request before he went. No player is bigger than the team and as always united will go on again. Great amount of money for him, he hasnt been good for the team and should have went last year. Just a moany cnut and i think 80 million pound is excellent to make the team better than before.

United have seen better players and will see better players again. I was sick of looking at him. ~Fersie made the right decision, I'm very happy about it. Good riddance and well done Fergie!!!

I'd love to see Essien at the club, make a huge difference to midfield
